If you are using a different web creation software that does
not support FrontPage extensions you need to use FTP to upload, download, and change your

giving you instructions for each one would require a book! The easiest way to connect in a

Internet Explorer 5 with the Web Publishing Wizard installed to use the following
connection method.
- Start up IE 5
- Click on FILE then OPEN
- In the OPEN box type in ftp://www.yourdomainname.com

- Enter [username] and [password] when prompted
- Make additions and changes as necessary
Please keep in mind that making changes in this manner is
extremely different than the FrontPage method. It is recommended for advanced webmasters
only. If your new to this stick to the FrontPage way of publishing
USING EUDORA PRO TO VIEW E-MAIL

POP or MAIL SERVER: mail.[yourdomainname]
SMTP SERVER: mail.[yourdomainname]
E-mail Username: see [email user] in the setup document mailed to you upon account
creation
** (on some older programs this will be typed at [emaillogin]@mail.[yourdomainname]
E-mail Password: see [password] in the setup document mailed to you upon account creation
Your account has been enabled with the following preset account name:
[email user]@[yourdomainname] You can use this account or the alias provided below as your
RETURN E-MAIL ADDRESS.
For flexibility this e-mail account also has an alias name attached to it. An alias is
another name for the same POP account. This is so you can have different looking addresses
all over your website but are able to pick them all up from one e-mail account.
The alias names that are preset are:
webmaster@[yourdomainname]
You will receive mail for all of these alias accounts however your login name must be set
in your e-mail program as [email user] since you are using the [email user] as your
primary account name.
Mail is purged after 30 days of receipt so be sure to download (retrieve) your mail from
the servers. BOXEDWEBSITE.COM recommends and supports Eudora Pro 4.1 or higher as your
email client.
CONNECTING TO THE WEB-BASED LIST SERVER
GETTING STARTED FOR THE FIRST TIME:
The ALS (ADVANCED LIST SERVER SYSTEM) is a 100% web-based program. This means that ALL
list functions that you will perform from configuration to sending to your list are all
done through a web-browser. This makes sending and administrating your list easy,
convenient, and very fast. Every possible effort has been made to allow for easy use. Any
web browser will work with this software, however for best results we recommend using
Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 and up or Netscape Navigator/Netscape Communicator 4.0 and
up. AOL users can use this software as well but we recommend you have the most recent
version of the AOL software installed for more reliable use.
ACCESSING THE USER ADMINISTRATOR:
Getting to all the functions of your ALS with a web browser is very easy. Simply load up
your browser and go to http://mouse.internetmatrix.com . On this page you will see a link
at the top right of the screen in black and white called "login to lcs". Click
on this link and a login box will pop-up. Enter the name and password that was mailed to
you when we setup your account.
Click on the OK button or click your enter key and your in!
Note: The name and password are case sensitive and must be entered exactly as listed in
the setup e-mail. When you login there are a few things you should do before sending. All
instructions will be found on-line after you login.
